Show your support and help your employees participate in the political process
Sep 03, 2010
Please join Western Energy Alliance on September 10, 2010 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction for a rally to Put Colorado Back to Work. We strongly encourage you and your employees to attend. Click here to view the flyer and please distribute to anyone, industry employee or not, who cares about western energy.
Doors open at 11 a.m. with lunch, live music, giveaways and speakers starting at noon. The event is part of a series of rallies throughout the country (click here to read about the Texas rallies with more than 5,000 attendees.)
Vote From Home Program
Western Energy Alliance is expanding its “Vote from Home” voter registration program because everyone deserves the right to vote.
Long hours, shift schedules, travel and long-term field deployment have prevented many of the 130,000 individuals in Colorado’s natural gas and oil industry from casting their vote on Election Day. Help your employees sign up for a permanent absentee ballot and give them a voice in the next election.
Trained personnel will attend your regularly scheduled safety, staff or other meetings to provide and collect voter registration forms, photocopy driver’s licenses and mail forms to the appropriate county clerk’s office. There is no cost associated to participate in Western Energy Alliance’s Vote From Home Program.
If you are interested in having our Vote From Home Program at one of your next meetings, please contact Jon Haubert at jhaubert@westernenergyalliance.org or (303) 623-0987.
