IPAMS Calls on Congress to Expand the Beneficial Use of Abundant, Clean-Burning American Natural Gas
IPAMS sent the following letter to Congress this morning offering our assistance in tackling some of the problems we are facing as a nation. No, we didn’t have any suggestions on health care reform. Instead, we highlighted the solution that natural gas provides for the Administration’s other two priorities, improving energy security and reducing carbon emissions. The letter warns against policies that restrict supply and offers a few suggestions on how to take advantage of abundant, American natural gas supplies.
Please feel free to forward this letter to any Congressional staff contacts you have in Washington DC or in local district offices (please save the above letter as a pdf and send in a separate email.)
Also, if you haven’t done so already, please take just a couple of minutes to complete this online form and let your Congressional representatives know that any energy bill that ignores the critical importance of natural gas is the wrong approach to solving our nation’s energy problems.
