DENVER – Today, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments regarding Seven County Infrastructure Coalition and Uinta Basin Railway, LLC v. Eagle County, Colorado et al. Western Energy Alliance and the American Forestry Resource Council (AFRC) submitted an amicus brief in support of the petitioners.

DENVER – Western Energy Alliance will honor Lynn Helms, Ph.D., the recently retired director of the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, in recognition of his 26 years of achievement enacting a regulatory climate for oil and natural gas that enabled the Bakken shale revolution, bringing prosperity to the state and its citizens while enabling the United States to become the world leader in energy production.
